We went to Santa Cruz and Capitola yesterday and I finally saw the sea. It is so beautiful. About a 40 minutes drive from here you reach the sea. All through the way the road is so much like our North roads, both sides of the road are covered with different kinds of woods in different shadows of green, I felt peace and calmness. It helped me a lot and put me high for a while. I wish I could stay there by the sea. My cousins took me to different places downtown it was really beautiful, but I could feel myself left by the sea. In Santa Cruz you see different people. Both towns are white cities and they have a different atmosphere. You come across many men and women in the wide sidewalks of the down town area in Santa Cruz sitting on the ground or on the benches playing their musical instruments, talking, drinking or using drugs!!!and they have their own life right next to you. Some of them have written some lines on a piece of paper in front of them asking for money. For the first time since I have been here I saw a queue for buying movie tickets...Ah good old days. I remembered when we used to spend hours in queues for movies on Asre Jadid cinema. Most restaurants have tables outside in the sidewalks and when people leave their plates out there on the tables, pigeons take care of the rest of the food. I have taken some photos; hopefully you will be able to see them in two days or so in Hadi's site.
Life goes on...
