I read this article about two months ago(7th July2003)in Reza's Blog .I decicded to translate it to English since the series of events in Iraq ,brings up the question into my mind for so many times. What do you think?:

Could democracy be injected?
"Injectable democracy, of the kind achieved when the United States invades a country and uses the gun force to found the basic establishments of civil society there, is good. Whatever the result turns to be, will be better than dictatorship.
In countries like ours not only there is no establishment that could or would protect democracy, but also a group of political ruffians holding on to the power and the money will not let the government of people to take authority.

It is so difficult to obliterate these fattened political ruffians and idealogic groups: knowing that they have nowhere else to go, they will fight to their last bullet not to miss their position.

Even if another bloody revolution drags them off the power, It opens up a way for any monstrous power to fill up the vaccum and force itself into people. Islamistis were the distinct example of such event in Iran's revolution.

The experience of Iraq would be of great value; could democracy be injected??... "
